Seasonal - Fantastic lavender, calendula and alfalfa drink

Get ready for a delicious, yummy, soul warming herbal infusion recipe! Did I mention It tastes amazing? If this was a cake recipe the cake topper would be how nutrient packed this combination is! Vitamins A, C, E and K, minerals calcium, phosphorus and iron are found in this infusion. Did I mention it is great for digestion and is calming to the nervous system.

1 teaspoon Lavender 

1 teaspoon Calendula 

1 teaspoon alfalfa 

Step 1 

In a pan bring 10 ounces of water to a boil. While the water is warming up mix the herbs into an 8ounce cup. Once the water has boiled for 1-2 minutes pour it into the cup until full. Place a cloth over the top of the glass so the nutrients do not steam out and let it rest for 15 minutes. 

Step 2 

When I drink this blend, it soaks love and happiness so deep into my soul that I am forced to expel a smile. Not the kind where the lips just move upwards, but the ones that make my heart so bright and full of light on the inside it shines all the way up my body and into my eyes. I can't wait for it to gladden your heart the way it does mine, so enjoy!

Tip

For those who want it to be sweeter add a 1/4 teaspoon of raw honey, do it after the water has cooled off into a warm temperature because if it is too hot the live enzymes will be killed.
